Install OpeningNinja on your device

OpeningNinja is a web app you can install — it lands on your home screen or dock, opens full-screen with no address bar, and works offline like any other app. Here's how on every device.

  1. Open OpeningNinja in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button — the square with an up-arrow — in the toolbar.
  3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. Tap Add in the top-right corner.

On iPhone and iPad this works in Safari, and since iOS 17 also in Chrome and Edge via their Share button. On iOS 26 and later, leave the “Open as Web App” toggle on.

Don't see an install option?

Installing is optional — OpeningNinja runs perfectly in a normal browser tab too. If your browser doesn't offer it, try Chrome, Edge, or Safari, or just keep using it in the browser. Either way your data stays on your device. More questions? See the FAQ.
